WTF-Fursuits: Just because your suit is here doesn't mean it's bad. Being different is never bad. This blog showcases the weird and wonderful. Most suits here are the maker's first attempt. Be proud of what you make. Even if it's silly. :3

A screenshot of a video (sorry for poor quality) of the kangaroo mascot of an old roller skating rink in Bradenton, Florida called “Florida Wheels”.
I couldn’t resist posting it here. X3
For only $80, it has a moving jaw and some really cheap fur. At best, it’s an O.K fixer-upper, but not something anyone can wear with any pride.
wtf-fursuits: This would be a nice cheap base option. With some airbrushing and a new nose, this could be decent. Posting it so people know it’s an option, honestly I hope to see more stuff like this.
edit: http://www.urbanoutfitters.com/urban/catalog/productdetail.jsp?id=29526720&parentid=A_HALLOWEEN#/ the big paws are pretty cute too. Would be cute with big stompy paws!
edit2: oh my god people it’s a halloween costume, the furry fandom isn’t “mainstream” and never will be, we’re a fandom centered around wearing embarassing animal costumes and jerking it to anthropomorphised animals, it’s not really ever going to be “mainstream”. Even if it was, the fandom is not your personal fanclub.
angry-moth-noises said: The fact that people are making a big deal over that post is really stupid. Fursuit or not. The item its self is a furry. Even if the artist doesnt know what a furry is. And its really WTF. Just like this blog posts wtf things.
Yeah, to be honest, while I mostly post fursuits, I don’t really mind if someone submits taxidermy or sculptures or whatever, as long as it’s weird enough.
sprinklesunicorn said: But like how can you pretend to be an authority on fursuits when you literally cant tell an inanimate object from a costume
I could actually tell but the submitter couldn’t. I actually didn’t care. I would apologize about my apathy but it would be a lie.
trumpetsharkcomics said: That last submission isn't a fursuit, it's an art installation piece by artist Van Weasel.
anything can be a fursuit if only you believe
Hello I’d like to say that the fursuit in this looks weird in that specific photo but in actuality it is because of the lighting! I personallly know the suits owner and the suit looks much better in proper lighting. The photo was taken in a bar which has very very poor lighting and made his face look weird in that specific photo. Below are pictures of him in better lighting so you can see that he doesn’t look bad and is infact very well done (I don’t have any better showing his face, sorry):
The suit belongs to Fang Supernova Snowpaws and is of a wolf I believe. I know he isn’t wtf material but I just needed to correct this mistake. I’ve alerted the owner of the post.
I wanted to show you guys my shark fursuit! c: Annoyingly, I tossed him back into the plastic box I keep my fursuit supplies in, and the plastic cover that covers the material that makes up his teeth popped off, so I get to try and glue that back on in the morning. Still have to add ear-horns, hair, and neck and he’s done c: Anyway, what do you think? c:
(Tagged as ‘I don’t know what animal this is’, because I’ve labelled him as a Land-shark. )
wtf-fursuits: I love him so much! The only way he could be better is if he were a hammerhead shark, cause those are the best sharks.
i wanna uppload my first suit ever made… it’s supposed to be a wendigo but i was not very good at doing skull faces
